Adapting and growing with new technology

Updated: Apr 19

The automotive industry is constantly changing and evolving with cars are becoming more advanced every day. We've all heard the old timer grip that they used to swap engines out in their garages no problem. With computers and advanced diagnostics its a lot more of an complicated of a process today.

I started in this industry right when cars were switching from carburetors to fuel injection. I worked with guys that refused to learn about fuel injection, they claimed it was just a fad and cars would go back to the way they were. Spoiler alert: fuel injection didn't go away and those guys are no longer in the industry. I never understood the mindset of clinging onto the past, I'm all about moving forward, learning more and growing.

Ek Automotive takes a lot of pride in keeping up with current technologies. We spend small fortunes in diagnostics equipment and software. All of our technicians regularly attend continuing education classes to keep up with the industry.

The mindset goes beyond just fixing the cars, I'm always thinking of ways for everyone here to be more efficient. This means were rolling out a new program to better notify our customers of things like when oil changes are due. We're really excited about being able to reach everyone faster and more efficiently. If you would like to opt out of this program please fill out the form here
