If only we had a crystal ball...

Updated: Mar 5, 2021

Wouldn’t it be great to have a crystal ball? You wouldn’t have any more unexpected ‘surprises’ in life. You would be able to get in front of everything. ‘Hey, I better take the day off of work next Thursday, my hot water heater is going to burst at 9:42 in the morning’ or ‘I better take the train to work tomorrow, there’s going to be a six car pile-up on the highway and all lane will be shut down for 4 hours.’ Think of all the hassles you could avoid. Or at the very least, think of the expenses you would have coming up so that you would be able to budget for them. Any time you can see something coming, you could better plan for it.

How about only if you could use it when it came to your car? A crystal ball mounted right to your dash like a fancy GPS, that would still be pretty cool. ‘Hey, my car is going to need a coolant flush in 6 months’ or ‘my car will need the brakes replaced in 10,000 miles and I know what it’s going to cost.’

Sadly we can’t offer a crystal ball just yet but that doesn’t mean you can’t know what’s coming up with your car. You see, it's actually fairly easy; it just involves a complete vehicle inspection. In fact we give one out free with every oil change. What it involves is one of our ASE certified technicians essentially going over the car with a fine toothed comb. They look at everything from brakes to tires to belts and hoses and just about everything else you can think of. 52 points to be exact.

When we do a full inspection we don’t just point out what’s good or what’s bad, we evaluate the condition so that we can tell you when you could expect something to either wear out or when maintenance is due. Together we can put together a service plan so you have an idea of what to expect in the future and catch tiny problems before they become big problems. It’s as close to a crystal ball as we can get.
